AI allowance
Label scanning and AI food matching share one monthly allowance: 100 for Supporter, 500 for Premium. It resets on the 1st of each month.
- Each label scan and each new food match uses one.
- Pairings already worked out for a wine — by anyone, in any language — are shown again without using any. Pairings in another language are translated for you, free.
- When the month's scans are used up, a label scan still works, but you get a basic reading and are told so.
- When the allowance is used up, food matching pauses until the 1st.
- Translating a tasting note does not count. Any tier can translate, up to 30 new translations a day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the free tier always exist? Yes. Free is permanent.
What happens if I downgrade? Your data is never deleted. Gated features become read-only or hidden; bottles over the cap are kept, but new additions are blocked until you are under the limit. The social graph is never touched — your followers, profile and shared notes stay. Sessions and clubs you already host remain readable; hosting rights switch off.
Are early users rewarded? Yes. Users who signed up before tiers were introduced have Supporter for life.
How do I subscribe? Menu → Manage Subscription. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) — never by a web checkout.
How do I cancel? iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → Subscriptions. See Subscriptions & Billing.
Can I switch between plans? Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the end of the current period.
Does my tier apply on the web? Yes — app.oenari.com reads the same membership.
