SmartCellar
SmartCellar is OENARI's drink-planning layer: an overview of your cellar as a whole, and guidance on which bottles to open, and when — based on your actual cellar, drinking windows, quantities and how fast you drink.
You'll find it in My Cellar → SmartCellar, next to Overview and Finder.
What Each Tier Sees

- Capacity — bottles stored, slots free and how full your cellar is.

- Color Balance — how your cellar splits across colours, and a note when it leans heavily one way.
- Cellar Value — the purchase value of your cellar and the average per bottle, converted to your currency when bottles were bought in different currencies.
- Countries and Vintages — where your bottles come from and how they spread across the years.
Premium Premium
- What should I drink next? — see below.
- Top Grapes and Top Regions.
- Vintage Spread — oldest, average and newest vintage.
- Module Capacity — how full each module is.

What Should I Drink Next?
Rather than looking at one bottle at a time, this looks at your cellar as a whole:
- A recommendation — the bottle to open next, with the reason (past its peak, at its peak, your last bottle, one of your highest-rated …) and its window. Tap Match with food to find dishes for it, or View bottle.
- Counts — how many bottles are Ready, Past peak, or have No window.
- Advice — for example bottles past their peak, too many ready at once for how fast you drink, a wave of bottles reaching their window in coming years, bottles without a drinking window or a price, a full module, or bottles not placed in any module.
- Your plan — your bottles grouped by when to drink them, paced to how many bottles you usually drink a month.
It uses your personal drinking window on a bottle when you've set one, and the suggested window otherwise. The advice is rule-based; no AI is involved.
The goal is simple: fewer bottles that slip past their prime, and better decisions about what to open tonight.
Getting the Most from It
SmartCellar works best when your bottles carry good metadata — vintages, grapes and regions — since the same data drives the drinking-window engine underneath. Bottles without a vintage get no drinking window and can't be planned.
