Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time, from the App, without contacting us. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Export first

Profile → Settings → Privacy → Export my data gives you everything as a JSON file. Export also produces spreadsheets and PDFs of your cellar and notes. Do this before deleting — there is no way back.

How to Delete

  1. Open Profile → Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Read what will be deleted and what is kept.
  4. Tick the acknowledgement, type DELETE, and tap Delete My Account Permanently.

If you have a paid subscription, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first — deleting the account does not cancel the store subscription.

What Is Deleted

Permanently, immediately:

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Your profile: name, handle, bio, avatar, taste preferences
  • Every bottle — active, consumed, archived — with prices, dates and positions
  • Your cellar structure: modules, sections, slots, external storage
  • All tasting notes, scores, photos and locations, and stored translations of your notes
  • Wishlist, tags, reminders
  • Receipts and certificates, including the files
  • Your avatar, your uploaded label scans and images you attached to feedback
  • Wine Portfolio valuations and sales
  • Your social graph: follows, followers, likes, blocks, follow requests
  • Taste sessions you hosted, and your participation and scores in others'
  • Wine clubs you own, and your membership and posts in others'
  • Notification settings, push tokens, e-mail preferences
  • Import history
  • The link between your account and pseudonymous usage events

What Is Kept, Anonymised

To keep the shared catalogue intact for other users:

  • Wines, producers, vendors, barcodes and label photos you contributed — the reference to you is removed. A label photo that became a wine's picture stays with that wine.
  • Your OP scores — already part of an anonymous average; the individual score is no longer linked to anyone.
  • Reports you filed — kept for moderation records without your identity.

Anonymised data cannot be traced back to you and is not personal data under the GDPR.

Deactivating Instead

If you only want to leave the social side, Profile → Settings → Privacy → Turn off profile makes every note private, removes every follower and makes you unfindable — while keeping your cellar.

Cannot Access the App?

E-mail support@oenari.com from the address on the account. We verify it is you and delete within 30 days.
