Match Wine to Food Supporter

Pick a wine from your cellar and OENARI will suggest dishes that complement it.

You'll find it in Menu → AI Sommelier → Wine → Food. The Match with food button in SmartCellar and the Food & wine card in Wine History open it with the wine already chosen.

From OENARI 4.2.1 the wine page has a Goes with section too, for any wine you look up — not only the ones in your cellar. If the wine already has pairings they show there straight away; otherwise tap Suggest dishes.

How It Works

  1. Search your cellar and tap the wine you want to open — maybe a bottle that's entering its peak, or one you've been saving for the right occasion.
  2. OENARI shows Dishes that pair well, each with a short reason.
  3. Tap Change wine to try another.

Suggestions are based on the wine itself: its colour, grapes, region, country and vintage.

AI Matches Per Month

Pairings for a wine are the same for everyone, so they are made once and saved:

  • If anyone has already asked for pairings for the wine in your language, you see them at once. No AI match is used.
  • If someone asked in another language, their pairings are translated into yours. That doesn't use an AI match either.
  • Only a wine nobody has asked about yet uses one match from your monthly allowance, which resets on the 1st of each month.
