Report & Block
The social side of OENARI is small and deliberate, and it stays that way because reports are read by a person and acted on. The rules are in the Community Guidelines.
Reporting a Note or Profile
Every public tasting note and every profile has a Report action (the …
menu). Pick the reason that fits — spam, harassment, hateful content, sexual
content, violence or threats, impersonation, misleading information, other —
and add a short description if it helps.
- Reports are confidential. The person is never told who reported them.
- You can report each note or profile once.
- Every report is reviewed and closed with an explicit decision: leave it, remove the content, or restrict the account.
Reporting Incorrect Wine Data
The wine database is shared by everyone. If a wine, producer or vendor has wrong information, open it and tap Report an error — incorrect information, duplicate, not a wine, inappropriate content, or other. These go to the same queue and are corrected in the catalogue for all users.
A wine that someone has in their cellar is never simply removed. If it turns out to be a duplicate or wrongly entered, it is merged into the right wine, and the bottles and notes on it move along.
Blocking Someone
Open a profile and tap Block.
- You no longer see each other's profiles or notes, in the feed or anywhere else.
- Any follows between you are removed in both directions.
- The other person is not told.
- They can no longer invite you to sessions.
Blocking does not prevent you from reporting. Manage your list under Profile → Settings → Privacy → Blocked users, where you can unblock.
What Happens After a Report
Every report is reviewed by a person. Depending on what we find, we may leave the content in place, remove it, or restrict or remove the account behind it. Serious breaches result in immediate removal. If you believe a decision was a mistake, write to support@oenari.com — a person will read it.
