Your Profile

Your profile is your home base: your collection at a glance, your achievements, and every setting. It has three tabs — Overview, Achievements and Settings.

Since 4.0 there is also an optional social profile. It is off until you turn it on, and it is covered in Public Profile & Privacy.

Overview

Your avatar, name, bio, membership tier and member-since date. Tap the avatar to take a photo or choose one from your library (in the browser: choose a file). Your bio, country and wine preferences are edited under Settings → Account.

Below that:

  • Collection stats — in cellar, tastings, wines tasted, countries. These are for you; they are not shown to anyone else.
  • Social — how many you follow and how many follow you. Tap to open the lists.
  • Achievements — your most recent badges.
  • Wine preferences — favourite style, grape, region and wine country. These are shown on your public profile if you activate one.

Achievements

Progress across every OENARI achievement, with a Getting Started checklist that ticks itself off as you create modules, place bottles, scan barcodes and write notes. You choose which achievements appear on your public profile with Show on profile. Achievements whose level would reveal roughly how many bottles you own are never shown, and say so instead of offering the switch. See Achievements.

Settings

Section What it covers
Account First and last name (never shown publicly), bio, country, taste preferences, change password. Username and e-mail are shown but locked.
Cellar Your cellar's name and type, and its storage conditions and environment score
Tags The built-in tags, and your own custom tags Premium
Privacy Social profile on/off, public or private account, blocked users, data export, turn off profile — see Public Profile & Privacy
Notifications Push types and the e-mail digest — see Notifications
Language, Currency & Units English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese — until you pick one, OENARI follows your phone's language (from 4.2.1), and notifications use the same language; the currency used for prices and reports; Celsius or Fahrenheit
Theme Archive (free), Linen & Cellar (Supporter), Editorial & Candlelit (Premium) — see Themes

Delete account Permanent, and removes your photos and receipts too — see Account Deletion

Currency

New accounts start with the currency of their region. Bottles bought in other currencies are converted when OENARI adds up your cellar's value.
